Conflicted

I hate anything emo. Loathe it, despise it. I think it's a completely wussified genre of music where a bunch of spoiled upper middle class white kids are whining because Daddy bought them a Beamer instead of a Bentley. Shut the fuck up already, dye your hair back to it's normal color instead of that hideous shade of black that makes you look so pale, and get a tan. If you don't like what I'm saying, then so slit your wrist a little and write a poem about the blood splatter and stop making shitty music about how no one understands you.

That being said however, I am excited because in 22 days, I am going to see...Fall Out Boy. Not as emo as some groups, but definitely emo nonetheless. The reason for the change in opinion? The gorgeousness of Pete Wentz, whom I have talked about in past posts. I adore him. Jordan makes fun of me for liking a guy who wears eyeliner but duh, Jack Sparrow has eyeliner on and Johnny Depp is still hott, so whatever. Katie and I are going to see them, Plain White T's, and Gym Class Heroes. Some other band is also going to be there, some emo group, but whatever, I just get to see Pete and that's all I care about. Well, that and hearing "Hey There Delilah" live. Plain White T's have a lot of really decent songs that I like, but that one is my favorite. I think it has something to do with the fact that it seemed like that song was always playing as we were going to sleep. It reminds me of you. Even though things are complicated right now, it's okay, they'll work out the way they're supposed to and I won't ever be so retarded again as to tell you I don't want to date you. Because I do. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. You've managed to reduce me to a blubbering pile of girlie girl, something that hasn't happened in about a year and a half. Congratulations, now do something about it.
